Herbal Tea for Relaxation

Herbal tea can not only help your body better deal with stress but it can set the mood for exploring how you could be attracting stress to you.

I drink herbal tea daily for all of its wonderful healing properties. I can gain calm and better sleep out of a good cup of lemon balm tea. Oatstraw is another great herb to help with stress. I made my mother-in-law a tea blend that included oatstraw and lemon balm and she remarked how it has helped with her sleep.

If you just want to relax or want to explore what is stressing you out a cup of herbal tea is the perfect start.

Relax Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon lemon balm
  • 1 teaspoon oatstraw
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon licorice root 
  • Raw honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a cup of water to a boil on the stove. Put all ingredients in diffuser, put the diffuser in a tea cup and pour about a cup of hot water over the diffuser and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove the diffuser and add raw honey to taste if using. Relax and enjoy!

This is a great herbal tea to drink at the end of the day to unwind and prepare for bed.
